Mobile App Developer in Melbourne
Native-feeling iOS & Android apps — designed, built and shipped.
I design and build mobile apps that feel native — fast, smooth and genuinely pleasant to use. From the first sketch to the App Store and Google Play, it's one developer across design, build and release. If you'd rather feel it than read about it, both of my Orbit apps run live in your browser right now.
What's included.
01 iOS & Android
One app that feels right on both platforms — native motion, gestures and polish, not a stretched website.
02 Product design
The flows, screens and interactions designed first, so the app is intuitive before a line of code is written.
03 Built to feel fast
Smooth, responsive and reliable — the kind of app people actually keep on their home screen.
04 Backend & cloud
Accounts, data, notifications and sync — the whole system, not just the screens.
05 App Store submission
I handle the store listings, screenshots and review process, and get you live on both stores.
06 Ongoing updates
Apps need care as phones and OSes change. I keep yours current and running.
A calm, legible process.
Four moves, start to finish — you always know where the project is and who you're talking to: the person building it.
- 01talk
Discovery
We talk it through — what you need, who it's for, what success looks like. I scope it honestly and give you a fixed quote, no surprises.
- 02draw
Design
Structure, look and feel — shaped together and refined until it feels unmistakably yours, not a template.
- 03make
Build
Clean, tested, fast. Built properly the first time — the part you never see is where the quality lives.
- 04keep
Care
Launch, watch, maintain. I don't disappear at go-live — I keep it running, secure and fast.
Don't take my word — use the apps.

Good to know.
Do I need a native app or a web app?
It depends on what you're building. If you need offline use, push notifications, camera or a home-screen presence, native is the right call. If it's mostly content or forms, a fast web app may be cheaper and simpler. I'll tell you honestly which one your idea actually needs — sometimes it's not an app at all.
How much does it cost to build an app?
Apps are more involved than websites, so they cost more — but the range is wide depending on features. I scope it carefully and give a fixed quote up front. Describe your idea in the AI sketch tool for a quick sense of scope.
Can I see something you've built?
Yes — the Orbit apps run live in your browser, no download needed. Orbit Team is the on-the-ground worker app and Orbit Base is the manager's command centre. Tap in and use them.
Do you handle getting it on the App Store?
Completely. I prepare the store listings, the screenshots and the metadata, and I manage the Apple and Google review process so you go live without the usual headaches.
How long does an app take?
More than a website — a focused first version (MVP) is the fastest way to launch and learn. I'll map a realistic timeline in discovery and ship in stages so you see progress early.
Have something in mind? Let's talk.
Tell me what you're making in a couple of lines — I'll come back with an honest read, a plan, and a fixed quote. Melbourne-based, working with clients everywhere.
